You need to keep in close contact with your vet who knows your dog's condition and is far better placed to help him. Talk to your vet again; let him/her know how anxious you are and that the situation is not improving for your dog. I'm sure your vet will be able to discuss the situation with you and you will be able to decide together the best course of action to take.
